Born in Dothan, Alabama, Shelden moved to Tuscaloosa to attend the University of Alabama, where she obtained both her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Public Relations with a minor in Entrepreneurship. She also focused her studies on Marketing Communication Management, which has served her well in her current role. Additionally, Shelden recently obtained her associate broker's license, a notable achievement in the real estate industry.
When she’s not at work, Shelden enjoys spending time with her husband, Lucas, and stepson, Hunter. They are a close-knit family and enjoy exploring Tuscaloosa's many parks and museums together. One of the causes closest to Shelden's heart is the Ronald McDonald House (RMDH), a charity she first encountered as a member of Alpha Delta Pi sorority. After her husband and stepson used RMDH's services following a car accident, Shelden grew to love the cause and became a loyal supporter. She also volunteers with Habitat for Humanity and supports other charitable events across town.
In addition to her passion for real estate, Shelden is also a firm believer in the power of education. She is committed to supporting the growth and development of her student interns, who represent the future of the industry. By mentoring these young professionals, Shelden hopes to create a positive impact not just on her team, but on the industry as a whole.
